Our Mission

The mission of Mobile Crisis Services of Lane County (MCS) is to provide equitable, person-centered crisis services. These services are delivered by qualified mental health professionals, with a focus on the dignity, safety, and well-being of each person served. We offer compassionate, trauma-informed care that respects each person's unique needs and work to remove barriers to accessing crisis services.

About Us

MCS is a program of Lane County Behavioral Health, offering mobile crisis response within Lane County. Our services are part of the crisis care system, which includes crisis hotlines and other services. MCS provides community-based response to deescalate and manage acute crises. We also offer follow-up care and coordination to ensure ongoing support. MCS, and our partners, serve all youth and adults living in Lane County.

  • Access to certified mental health professionals.
  • Access to client focused resources.
  • Coordination with existing providers.
  • Provide direct referrals for behavioral health care.
  • Transportation coordination
  • Follow-up check within 72 hours of contact.
  • Naloxone administration (also known as Narcan)
