Facility Permits –
There are four types of Facility Permits: Access Connections (Temporary and Permanent); General Construction; Utility Work; and Other Activities. (Special Events are a separate permit category.) More information about each permit type, including instructions, application forms, and fees, is provided below.
Access Connections: Establishes the access point between private property and a county road and allows construction.
General Construction: Allows work like drainage upgrades, sewer connections, new sidewalk construction and frontage improvements.
Utility Work: Allows for installation and maintenance of things like pipes, conduits, poles and vaults.
Other Activities: Allows for consideration of activities in the County right-of-way not covered in the Access, General Construction, and Utility Work permits (above) or the Special Events permits (below).
