Lane County District Annexations
The district annexation process for most types of special districts is covered in Oregon Revised Statute (ORS) Chapter 198 – “Special Districts Generally.” Always check the principal Act for the specific type of special district annexation to determine if additional formation requirements are required.
Additional information may be found by visiting the Special Districts Association of Oregon.
Filing fees for annexations can be found here: Annexation Fees
Ready to start the annexation process? There are multiple departments within the County who play a significant role in the process. To better serve you, we created a special district working group, and you may email the team here to begin the process.
