Alicia shares, “As a third generation dental professional, I am honored to have worked for Community Health Centers of Lane County as an outreach Dental Hygienist since 2006. After participating in the Oregon State Smile Survey in 2007, I saw the tremendous need for children to receive dental prevention services in an outreach program.”
Alicia worked part -time at Community Health Centers and part-time in a private Dental Practice from 2006-20I0. She received her Expanded Practice Dental Hygiene permit in 2010 and a full-time position at Community Health Centers of Lane County and is now a Senior Expanded Practice Dental Hygienist.
Alicia holds a current Dental Hygiene position on The Oregon Board of Dentistry, since 2015, as well as many state and national committees, working to provide the highest level of dental care to the state of Oregon. She is on the Western Regional Examination Committee as a local anesthesia clinical examiner, and is an active member of American Dental Hygiene Association, where she also served on the ODHA Government Relations Council.
Alicia loves spending time with her family, as they all live locally, and she especially enjoy the many hours she gets to spend with her grandchildren. In her spare time she loves kayaking and gardening, especially fresh vegetables.
