The Transitional Age Youth (TAY) Workgroup was developed to create a space where behavioral health and basic needs service agencies who serve community members aged 16-25 come together to discuss barriers, develop creative solutions, and share TAY resources.
This workgroup is administered through The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Healthy Transitions Grant: Improving Life Trajectories for Youth and Young Adults With Serious Mental Disorders Program grants (Short Title: Healthy Transitions). The purpose of this program is to improve access to treatment and support services for youth and young adults, ages 16-25, who have a serious emotional disturbance or a serious mental illness.
