The BHASC is an advisory body to the Lane County Coordinated Care Organization's Clinical Advisory Panels and the BHASC subcommittees by reviewing and recommending in the sphere of behavioral health expertise:
- Clinical performance measurements/metrics
- Integrated program development
- Evidence-based clinical guidelines with focus toward optimal patient standards of care
- Early intervention and prevention of progressive levels of care
- Coordination of care with community partners
- Projects and practices addressing elimination of disparities in access and quality of care
- Treatment outcomes related to race, culture, language and disabilities
- Health equity concerns
BHASC Workgroups:
Adult Severely and Persistently Mentally Ill (SPMI), Behavioral Health Training & Education, Early Childhood Mental Health (ECMH), Older Adult Behavioral Health (OAW), Substance Use Disorder (SUDS), and Behavioral Health Access.
The Community Resilience Workgroup (CRW) has been developed in response to the impacts that various underrepresented and disadvantaged populations will be experiencing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The goals of this group will be to enhance universal resilience and promote recovery from trauma and stress caused by the virus and its economic consequences.
Membership:
