The Development Permits Section is responsible for determining how development within county jurisdiction impacts our roadways and what conditions must be met in order for the development to take place. When a planning application is submitted to the Land Management Division for development, a referral is sent to the Development Permits Section and is reviewed for issues such as access and traffic impacts.
Also, the Development Permits Section issues Facility Permits for utility work within county rights-of way. These permits assure that the work is done with minimal impact to county infrastructure.
